Lil’ Rockers Climbing Camp (June 29- July 1)
We had a lot of fun with our first ever session of Lil’ Rockers, for kids 4 to 6 years old. They spent two half days in the gym with Mrs. Caitlin, rock climbing and playing games. On the last day of camp we took them on a guided climbing trip outside to Cove Creek in Pisgah Forest. All of our Lil’ Rockers made it to the top of the climb twice and provided lots of entertainment along the way. You never know what a 5 year old will say! We hope to see our Lil’ Rockers program grow along with our Junior Climbing Teams in the Fall, Winter and Spring. It’s a great age to start rock climbing, especially in a town like Brevard, where world class rock climbing is in our backyard. We plan to make BRG an advocate for the “No Child Left Inside” campaign! NC rock climbing is a venue that can make an impact.
